Blog Posts

There are two pages of blog posts:

• Page 1 - These posts explain what actuaries do, how to enter an actuarial career and talk about continuing education and growth. You can see the actuarial career path from these readings. As all my experience is with life insurance companies in the US, the information is primarily from this perspective. The life insurance products are for your information.

• Page 2 - One post is about how to get there, including a poem "Mirror of the Sky" I wrote. The other post includes the books recommended to read to build soft skills. It is not directly related to the actuarial career but it is much more than that. Those books would be helpful for any profession and ultimately for our everyday life. In addition, classic books are highly recommended, such as Dao De Jing and Sixth Patriarch Platform Sutra, etc.
